I spent Thanksgiving up in Rochester with
Sam and his lovely family. On my last night there we made a big bonfire and had a nice evening sitting around it. It was beautiful and I ended up taking quite a few photos that night. I thought it would be fun to paint fire since I've never done so before. It was a lot of fun painting something so bold and bright and out of control. I suggest everyone try it. This was a fast painting, and after it dries I'll most likely go back into it, with some glazing and added hints of color.
